Very low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 8 August. The
solar wind is currently at moderate levels and is expected to remain
near moderate levels for the next 24 hours. This weakly enhanced solar
wind is possibly caused by a small positive polarity equatorial
coronal hole. Geomagnetic activity in the Australian region are
expected to be mostly at quiet levels and at times may reach unsettled
levels, today. High-frequency radio communication users are advised to
use near predicted monthly frequencies.
