Thu Sep 28 09:50:17 EST 2017

Very Low to Low solar flare activity is expected for today, 28
September, with a chance of C-class flares and a slight chance of
M-class flares. Solar wind speeds are very strong due to the arrival
of high speed streams from a positive-polarity polar-connected coronal
hole. Geomagnetic activity is expected to be at Active levels with
isolated periods of Minor Storm levels, particularly at higher
latitudes. High-frequency radio communication users are advised to use
slightly higher than monthly predicted frequencies, but they may
experience minor depressions in mid to high latitudes.
