Moderate solar flare activity is expected for today, 5 September, with
a small chance of an X-class flare. The Earth is currently under the
influence of moderately elevated solar wind speeds from a coronal hole
but expected to decrease over the next 24 hours. The geomagnetic
conditions at Earth today are expected to be mostly at Quiet levels
and occasionally may reach Unsettled levels. Short-wave radio fadeouts
possible. High-frequency radio communications normal.
