[ips-sf] SWS Summary Forecast for 10 November - issued 2348UT/09-Nov-2017 [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

rwc rwc at ips.gov.au
Fri Nov 10 10:48:21 EST 2017

Very low levels of solar activity are expected for today, 10 November.
The solar wind is strong in response to the effects associated with
the recurrent coronal hole. The geomagnetic conditions are expected to
be mostly at active levels. However, they may reach minor storm levels
should IMF Bz maintain strongly southward for a prolonged period.
High-frequency radio communications conditions are expected to be
degraded to fair levels as a consequence of the increased geomagnetic
activity. Moderately depressed MUFs are expected to occur, especially
at high latitudes.
