Thu May 4 09:53:36 EST 2017

Very low solar flare activity is expected for today, 4 May. The solar
wind speeds are at near nominal levels but may become enhanced on 4
May due to the possible arrival of the 30 April CME. As a result, the
geomagnetic conditions at Earth could reach Active levels today with
an isolated chance of Minor storms. High-frequency radio communication
users are advised to use near monthly predicted frequencies. There is
a small chance of visible auroras during local nighttime hours at high
latitudes on 04 May.
