Very low solar flare activity is expected for today, 3 January. Light
solar wind. The geomagnetic conditions are expected to be at quiet to
unsettled levels. High-frequency radio communications users are
advised to use lower than monthly predicted frequencies today, as the
ionosphere is gradually recovering from the 1 January active
geomagnetic conditions caused by the coronal hole.
