Very low levels of solar activity is expected for today, 28 December.
The earth is still under the influence of moderately elevated solar
wind speeds associated with a southern hemisphere coronal hole, but is
expected to drop to background levels by the end of the day. As a
result, the geomagnetic conditions are expected to be mostly at quiet
levels and at times reaching unsettled levels. High-frequency radio
communication users are advised to use near monthly predicted
frequencies, today.
