Very low levels of solar activity is expected for today, 18 December.

geomagnetic conditions are expected to be between quiet to active
levels, and at times may reach minor storm levels today.
High-frequency radio communication users are advised to use slightly
lower than the monthly predicted frequencies, today. The CME
associated with the erupting filament that occurred around 15/1100 UT
from the southeast solar quadrant is not likely to impact earth.
