[ips-sf] SWS Summary Forecast for 25 October - issued 2357UT/24-Oct-2016 [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

rwc rwc at ips.gov.au
Tue Oct 25 10:57:31 EST 2016

Currently there is only one sunspot group on the Sun. Expect very low
solar flare activity. The geomagnetic conditions are expected to range
from unsettled to major storm levels over the coming day due to a
large coronal hole extending from the solar north pole across the
equatorial region into the southern hemisphere of the Sun.
High-frequency radio communications fair to normal at low to mid
latitudes with isolated degraded conditions at high latitudes.
