Wed Jun 8 09:41:33 EST 2016

Solar activity on UT day 7 June was at very low levels, with no
flares. Similar solar conditions are expected today 8 June. The solar
wind speeds had gradually declined trend from 550 km/s to about 450
km/s on June 7, in response to the waning effects of coronal hole. The
geomagnetic activity was mostly at quiet levels over the past 24
hours. Both the solar winds and geomagnetic activity are expected to
continue to trend towards nominal levels today. High-frequency radio
communication conditions over the Australian regions are expected to
gradually recover to near monthly predicted levels today. In contrast,
expect slower recovery of HF conditions in the Northern Hemisphere
regions during this time of the year.
