Solar activity on UT day 6 June was at very low levels, with no
flares. Very low solar activity with no flaring is expected today 7
June. The solar wind speeds were greater than 500 km/s and G2 level
storm occurred on 6 June. These were related to the passage of a
coronal hole high speed stream. The winds are expected to trend
towards weaker levels today at the effects of coronal hole wanes.
High-frequency radio communication conditions are expected to be
moderately depressed today, 7 June. HF users are advised to continue
to use lower than the monthly predicted frequencies for the next 24
hours.
