Solar flare activity was very low during 12 Jan UT and it is expected
to remain very low to low during the next 2 days. Weak C class flares
are possible. The fast solar wind which arrived at Earth during the
second half 11 Jan will continue to drive unsettled geomagnetic
conditions today, 13 Jan. Geomagnetic conditions will become quite
during 14-15 Jan. Conditions for HF radio wave propagation were
depressed during the early hours of 12 Jan, but they have recovered to
near normal or better at most mid latitude stations.
