Very low solar flare activity is again expected for today 31 December.
The solar winds are expected to enhance from late today in response of
the anticipated arrival of an equatorial coronal hole effects. As a
result,the geomagnetic conditions at earth could reach active levels
with isolated chance of minor storms. Auroras may be visible tomorrow
night (1 January) in Tasmania and possibly from the coastline of
Victoria. High-frequency radio communications users are advised to
continue using near monthly predicted frequencies.
