Tue Sep 8 09:39:54 EST 2015

Very low levels of solar flare activity is expected to continue today
as well. Effect of a coronal hole is keeping the earthward directed
solar wind stream strong. This effect is expected to keep the solar
wind stream strong over the next 24 hours with the possibility of
raising geomagnetic conditions to active levels with isolated minor
storm periods. High-frequency radio communications conditions are
expected to remain fair to poor over the next 24 hours due to
continued very low levels of ionising radiation and rise in
geomagnetic activity levels due to the coronal hole effect.
