[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 05 September - issued 0001UT/05-Sep-2015

Sat Sep 5 10:01:45 EST 2015

Solar activity during the past 24 hours was very low. Earth
experienced G1 (minor) geomagnetic storms during the last 24 hours.
This was a combined effect of high speed solar wind stream emanating
from a coronal hole (CH 95) and Bz remaining negative (southwards) for
prolonged periods. A minor storm alert is forecasted for the next 24
hours since the solar winds are expected remain strong over the next
day. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to settled within few days as
the coronal hole effects wane. Conditions for HF radio wave
propagation are still unusually depressed
