Fri Nov 27 10:29:10 EST 2015

Solar flare activity was very low during 26 Nov UT and it is expected
to be very low to low today, 27 Nov. Hydrogen alpha solar telescopes
show a large prominence “floating” above the south west limb of the
visible solar disk. Coronal Hole 703 is approaching the central
meridian in the Southern Hemisphere. This feature will likely be the
source of fast wind which impacts Earth next week. For now, Earth is
immersed in very slow solar wind with the speed of about 260 km/s.
Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be quiet to unsettled during
the next 48 hours. Conditions for HF radio communication are expected
to be enhanced throughout the Australian region today.
