[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 12 November - issued 2328UT/11-Nov-2015 [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

rwc rwc at ips.gov.au
Thu Nov 12 10:28:23 EST 2015

Low solar flare activity is expected on 12-Nov. The solar wind is
still strong due to effects from a northern hemisphere coronal hole,
with an equatorial coronal hole and CME impact likely to raise it
further on 12-Nov. Geomagnetic conditions are currently quiet but
likely to reach active to minor storm levels later today.
High-frequency radio communications are poor to fair, with depressed
maximum useable frequencies. Aurora sightings are possible from
southern Australian regions during local night on 12-Nov.
