Thu May 14 09:38:53 EST 2015

Low to moderate solar flare activity is expected for 14-May. Coronal
hole effects are still in progress, with a very strong solar wind.
Geomagnetic conditions reached minor storm levels on 13-May, but
mostly unsettled conditions with some active periods are likely on
14-May. Short-wave radio fadeouts are possible, if high-level X-ray
flares occur. High-frequency radio communications are normal at low to
mid latitudes with isolated degraded conditions possible at high
latitudes. There were aurora sightings from southern Australia on
13-May, but these are less likely on 14-May.
