rwc rwc at ips.gov.au
Mon Feb 16 10:34:00 EST 2015

Solar activity at Very Low levels although there is a chance of Low
activity over the next 24 hours. The solar wind speeds start to
increase today due to the arrival of a coronal hole high speed stream
and is expected to continue increasing over the next 24 hours.
Geomagnetic conditions are expected to rise to Unsettled levels with
the possibility of isolated Active periods. Maximum useable
frequencies for HF communications continue to fall gradually due to
reducing levels of ionising EUV flux, however frequencies should
remain mostly at predicted monthly values.
