[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 16 August - issued 2300UT/15-Aug-2015

Expect Low solar flare activity and a moderate solar wind. Geomagnetic
conditions are expected to range from Unsettled to Active levels
today. Expect moderate MUF depressions and periods of degradation in
HF communication today, 16 August, due to the ionospheric storm
activity. A coronal mass ejection from the sun that was observed on 12
August in association with filament eruption arrived earlier then
expected resulting periods of Minor Storm level geomagnetic conditions
and possible aurora sightings for last night and tonight in Tasmania
and more southern Australian areas such as Victoria.
