[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 21 January - issued 2323UT/20-Jan-2014

Solar activity was low during 20 Jan UT and is expected to remain low
during the next 48 hours. AR 1959 located in the SE quadrant has been
producing C class flares. There is a small chance of an M-class solar
flare. The solar wind speed is light but is expected to increase
further today leading to periods of unsettled geomagnetic conditions.
The large coronal hole (CH 600) located in the NW quadrant of the
solar disk is too far north to produce especially strong flows at
Earth. High-frequency radio communications were enhanced to strongly
enhanced at Australian region stations during 20 Jan UT. HF
communications are expected to remain good during the next 3 days.
