Low to moderate solar flare activity is expected for 1-Jan, with a
chance of X-class flares. The solar wind is light to moderate.
Geomagnetic conditions are currently quiet, but likely to reach
unsettled to active levels late in the UT day, with the expected
arrival of a coronal hole high speed wind stream. Short-wave radio
fadeouts are possible. High-frequency radio communications are
normal.
