Low solar flare activity is expected for 9-Dec. The effects of a large
southern hemisphere coronal hole are in decline, with the currently
very strong solar wind expected to weaken over the next 3 days.
Unsettled geomagnetic conditions are expected to continue into 9-Dec.
High-frequency radio communications are normal with isolated degraded
conditions at high latitudes. Aurora sightings might be possible from
extreme southern Australian locations on 9-Dec.
