[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 17 April - issued 2314UT/16-Apr-2014

Solar activity is increasing from the recent low levels with 4
centrally place sunspot groups all having the potential to produce
significant X-ray flares. The greatest flare over the last 24 hours
was an M1. No geomagnetic disturbances are currently expected in the
next few days, although satellite imagery of any possible CME from the
M! flare is not yet available to determine whether it may cause some
geomagnetic activity within the next few days. The high level of
ionising EUV flux, due to the sunspot regions, is producing a strong
ionosphere leading to good conditions for HF radio propagation.
