Very low to low solar flare activity is expected to continue.
Significant coronal hole effects are in progress producing strong
solar wind which is abating slowly. Minor to Major geomagnetic storm
conditions were observed during 1 June in association with reports of
Aurora sightings from Tasmania. Geomagnetic activity is abating and
mostly Quiet to Unsettled levels are expected for 2 June with the
chance of isolated active periods. High-frequency radio communications
are expected to be mostly normal for the Australian region with poor
conditions at times elsewhere.
