Low to moderate solar flare activity. Moderate solar wind. Geomagnetic
conditions at quiet to unsettled levels. Short-wave radio fadeouts
possible. High-frequency radio communications normal. Active
geomagnetic conditions possible at high latitudes. AR1652 and 1654
have produced several M-class flares and have moved into a
geoeffective position on the solar disk. The large sunspot group
located near the central meridian may be visible to the human eye
fully protected with solar eclipse glasses.
