[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 15 September - issued 0008UT/15-Sep-2012

rwc rwc at ips.gov.au
Sat Sep 15 10:08:33 EST 2012

Very low solar flare activity. A small coronal hole high speed wind
stream is expected to mildly elevate the solar wind speed sometime in
the next 24 hours. This elevated wind speed is expected to cause some
unsettled geomagnetic activity and consequently causing slight
disturbed conditions for high-frequency radio communication but not
large enough for aurora sightings in Australia.
