Solar flare activity is Low, solar wind and geomagnetic conditions are
mostly normal. High frequency radio communication may be disrupted in
polar regions currently due to enhanced high energy proton flux. The
edge of a large cloud of ejected solar material is expected to strike
the Earth sometime on September 3rd, causing some Active to Minor
Storm level geomagnetic disturbance. This is expected to cause some
mild reduction in the maximum useable frequency for high frequency
radio communication on September 3rd and 4th.
