2.1     Comments on Solar Activity.
Solar activity was at mostly low to moderate levels for the month,
with  4 M1 level xray flare events. No X class flare events were 
observed.  The largest flare for the month was an M1.6 on Jun 23.

3.     GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCES              (for Australian Region)

8 Jun: A weak sudden impulse (13nT) was observed in IPS magnetometer data at 1141UT.
       No significant activity followed impulse.

No signifcant periods of disturbance were observed this month. Unsettled levels,
with isolated active periods were observed during the intervals 2-4, 8-10, 18-19
and 30 June.

4.     IONOSPHERIC DISTURBANCES              (for Australian Region)
   18 Jun: Regional MUFs 10-15% depressed, local daylight hours.
27-30 Jun: MUFs at Vanimo, PNG, depressed 20-30% during interval
	   14-18UT.

No significant periods of ionospheric depression were observed this
month in the Australian/New Zealand region.
