SUBJ: SWS PRELIMINARY HF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WARNING 17/26
ISSUED AT 0300UT/15 MAY 2017
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

Increased geomagnetic activity is expected over the next 48 hours. 
Depressed MUFs at mid latitudes and poor ionospheric support 
for high latitudes expected should Active geomagnetic conditions 
eventuate.

DEGRADED HF PROPAGATION CONDITIONS EXPECTED
FROM 15-17 MAY 2017
IF COMMS DIFFICULTIES EXPERIENCED TRY A LOWER FREQUENCY BAND
A MORE DETAILED HF WARNING WILL FOLLOW IF DEPRESSIONS EVENTUATE.
