SUBJ: SWS HF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WARNING 17/14
ISSUED AT 2300UT/16 FEBRUARY 2017
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

The Earth's ionosphere is currently under the influence of moderately 
disturbed solar winds associated with a positive polarity coronal 
hole. The HF depressions are currently been experienced in the 
high latitude regions. Over the next three days (17-19 February), 
the high latitude depressions are expected to extend into the 
low latitude regions. This effect is expected to be more prominent 
in the Southern hemisphere during this time of the year. HF users 
are advised to use lower than the monthly predicted frequencies 
for the next three days (17-19 February).
