SUBJ: IPS HF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WARNING 12/03
ISSUED AT 26/0219Z JANUARY 2012
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

DEGRADED HF PROPAGATION CONDITIONS EXPECTED
FROM 26-28 JANUARY 2012

This is a follow-on warning from HF Warning 12/02.

The anticipated significant increase in geomagnetic activity did not
eventuate, reaching only moderate levels. HF depressions only reached
approximately 20% during local daytime hours. These mildly degraded
conditions are expected to continue at times from the previous warning
period, particularly for southern regions.
