SUBJ: IPS PRELIMINARY HF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WARNING 04/38
ISSUED AT 13/2307Z SEPTEMBER 2004
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

DEGRADED HF PROPAGATION CONDITIONS EXPECTED
FROM 14-15 SEPTEMBER 2004

A shock passage from recent CME activity has resulted in 
elevated geomagnetic activity. Significantly elevated proton flux 
has been observed following the shock passage. HF disturbances 
possible Sep 14-15  mainly at high latitudes, and around local 
dawn at low to mid latitudes. 

IF COMMS DIFFICULTIES EXPERIENCED TRY A LOWER FREQUENCY BAND
A MORE DETAILED HF WARNING WILL FOLLOW IF DEPRESSIONS EVENTUATE.
