SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 23/01
ISSUED AT 2321UT/20 JANUARY 2023
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

G1 geomagnetic storming is possible over 23-24 Jan due to a combination 
of two possible glancing blows from CMEs first observed on 19 
and 20 Jan, and high speed wind stream effects from an equatorial 
coronal hole, which is rotating towards a geoeffective position.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
