SUBJ: SWS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 22/16
ISSUED AT 0109UT/30 MARCH 2022
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

AR 2975 produced an M1 flare at 28/1920 UT, which triggered a 
halo CME. The CME is expected to catch up and combine with an 
earlier CME from an M4 event at 28/1129UT. The combined arrival 
of both events is expected early on 31 Mar(UT). As a result, 
the geomagnetic conditions are expected to reach major storm 
levels with a chance of an isolated severe storm period.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
