SUBJ: SWS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 22/37
ISSUED AT 2044UT/09 AUGUST 2022
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

Planetary Kp index reached ASWAS G2 geomagnetic conditions in 
the final period of UT day 07-Aug. Increased geomagnetic activity 
is expected over 10-12 Aug due to ongoing high speed wind stream 
effects from a pair of equatorial coronal holes currently in 
geoeffective positions. Note that the Australian region is yet 
to experience a period of G2 and has, so far, experienced only
an isolated period of G1.
