SUBJ: SWS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 21/10
ISSUED AT 2348UT/03 MARCH 2021
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

A large equatorial coronal hole is expected to reach geoeffective 
position late on UT day 4 March or on UT day 5 March. There is 
also the waning effect of a Southern Polar coronal hole. Geomagnetic 
activity is expected to be initially quiet to unsettled on UT 
day 4 March and then possibly reaching active levels with possible 
minor storm periods from late UT day 4 March. On UT days 5-6 
March unsettled to active conditions are expected with the chance 
of minor storms. Aurora may be visible on the local night of 
5-6 March from Tasmania.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
