SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 15/12
ISSUED AT 0554UT/20 APRIL 2015
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

A weak coronal hole is expected to influence the Earth in the
latter half of the UT day of 20 April and produce slightly enhanced
geomagnetic activity. A slow moving CME is expected to impact
the Earth in the latter half of the UT day of 21 April and may
add to the coronal hole effects to produce mildly elevated geomagnetic
activity. Mostly unsettled to active levels are expected with
the chance of minor storm periods primarily at high latitudes.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
FROM 20-21 APRIL 2015

20 Apr: Initially quiet with unsettled levels in the latter half of the UT day
21 Apr: Quiet to unsettled with isolated active periods possible in the latter
