SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 13/02
ISSUED AT 0600UT/15 MARCH 2013
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

A sudden impulse of 22nT was detected in BOM/IPS magnetometers 
at 0527UT on the 15th March. Current indicators suggest this 
event is most likely to peak at Active levels, however Minor 
Storm periods at high latitudes are possible over the next 24 
hours.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
