SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 13/11
ISSUED AT 0119UT/01 JUNE 2013
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

This is an update to Geomagnetic Warning 13/10. A weak shock 
was observed in the solar wind at 1529UT on 31 May, possibly 
due to the co-rotating interaction region (CIR) associated with 
the anticipated coronal hole high speed wind stream. The IMF 
Bz component turned strongly southward at 0010UT on 1 June. Minor 
storm periods are now likely at high latitudes.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
