SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 03/15

BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
DUE TO CORONAL HOLE HIGH SPEED WIND STREAM
FROM 30 APRIL 2003 TO 02 MAY 2003

High speed solar wind stream, expected from a favourably
placed coronal hole, may raise the geomagnetic activity-
starting late on 30 April. Minor strom periods may be 
observed during the next three days. The geomagnetic 
activity is expected to show gradual decrease thereafter.

01 May:  Active to minor storm
