INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
FROM 27-28 OCTOBER 2001

A CME associated with the X1-flare observed at 1504 UT on
25 October is expected to impact the Earth late in the UT
day on 27 October resulting in minor to major storm periods.
