MODERATELY INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED FROM 
27-28 MAY 2001.

A M1 FLARE/CME WAS REPORTED AT 1944UT ON 24 MAY. EVENT DATA
SUGGESTS S MINOR SHOCK ARRIVAL SECOND HALF OF THE UT DAY ON 
27 MAY.

GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY FORECAST 
27 May:  Initially at quiet to unsettled levels, increasing to
         active to minor storm conditions during second half of 
         UT day.
28 May:  Initially at active to minor storm conditions, activity
         declining as day progresses.
