COMMENT: Solar activity was Very Low for the UT day, 24 June.
Very Low solar activity is expected for the next 3 days with
a slight chance of C-class flares. No Earth-directed CMEs were
observed in the available LASCO imagery. The solar wind speed
varied between approximately 360 to 430 km/s over the last 24
hours. It is currently around 400 km/s. The B total interplanetary
magnetic field decreased over the last 24 hours, starting around
8 nT and currently around 6 nT. The Bz component varied between
-6 to 6 nT. The minor enhancements in the solar wind due to coronal
hole effects are expected to wane over the next three days.

Observed Regional daily pc3 Indices 24 Jun :
      Darwin 0 (Quiet)
      Townsville 0 (Quiet)
      Learmonth 0 (Quiet)

      Canberra 0 (Quiet)
      Melbourne NA

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.

25 Jun 10 Quiet to Unsettled
26 Jun 8 Quiet to Unsettled
27 Jun 5 Quiet

COMMENT: Geomagnetic activity was at Quiet to Unsettled levels
across the Australian region. Quiet to Unsettled conditions are
possible over the next two days (25-26 June) due to the waning
effects of the northern high latitude (>20N) positive polarity
coronal hole, then Quiet conditions for 27 June.

4B. AUSTRALIAN REGION IONOSPHERIC FORECAST
Date T index MUFs
25 Jun 0 Near predicted monthly values/depressed 10 to

                20%
27 Jun 10 Near predicted monthly values

COMMENT: Mostly near predicted monthly MUFs were observed over
the Australian region on UT day, 24 June. Mostly near predicted
MUFs, with periods of minor depressions in MUFs, are expected
on 25-26 June due to the current Quiet to Unsettled levels of
geomagnetic activity.
