Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3 indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3 indices for that station.

2B. MAGNETIC FORECAST
Date Ap Conditions
02 Feb 8 Quiet to Unsettled
03 Feb 6 Quiet
04 Feb 6 Quiet
COMMENT: Slightly increased geomagnetic activity levels were
observed for 1 Feb as the result of a CME associated with a recent
disappearing solar filament.

4A. AUSTRALIAN REGION IONOSPHERIC SUMMARY

http://www.ips.gov.au/asfc/aus_hf

Date T index
01 Feb 127

Observed Australian Regional MUFs
   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
Depressed 15% to near predicted monthly values.

Predicted Monthly T index for February: 107

4B. AUSTRALIAN REGION IONOSPHERIC FORECAST
Date T index MUFs
02 Feb 145 5 to 15% above predicted monthly values
03 Feb 145 5 to 15% above predicted monthly values
04 Feb 145 5 to 15% above predicted monthly values
COMMENT: Slightly degraded MUF's were observed at times during
1 Feb as the result of a slight increase in geomagnetic activity,
however, MUF's were predominantly near normal.
