      Depressed by 15% during local day.
      Depressed by 20% during local night.

      Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.

COMMENT: SWS HF Communications Warning 4 was issued on 5 February 
and is current for 6 Feb only. MUFs in the Australian region 
were mildly to moderately depressed during UT day 05 February. 
Sporadic E layers were observed, strong at times. For the next 
two UT days, 06-07 February, mild to moderate depressions are 
likely. Further MUF depressions may happen on 08 February in 
response to the predicted increase in the geomagnetic activity.
