      Depressed by 25% during local day.
      Depressed by 30% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day.
      Depressed by 30% during local night.
   Southern Australian Region:
      Depressed by 20% during local day.
      Depressed by 25% during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.

PCA Event : No event.

COMMENT: Conditions for HF radio wave propagation were mildly 
depressed throughout the Australian region during 23 May UT. 
Cocos Island was an exception: the preliminary daily T index 
was near the monthly predicted value. Conditions are expected 
to remain mildly depressed throughout most of the Australian 
region during the next 3 days.
