AUSTRALIAN REGION SUMMARY AND FORECAST

1. SUMMARY (11 JANUARY)

   Niue Island Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day.
      Enhanced by 20% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day.
      Enhanced by 15% during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values.
      Enhanced by 20% after local dawn.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.

PCA Event : 10MeV Proton/PCA Event Began at 0900UT 06/01, Ended at 1725UT 11/01
 and, 10MeV Proton/PCA Event Began at 1800UT 11/01, Ended at 1915UT 11/01
 and, 10MeV Proton/PCA Event Began 12 01 2014 0640UT and is in progress

COMMENT: IPS SWF HF Communications Warning 3 was issued on 9 
January and is current for 10-12 Jan. MUFs were near predicted 
values to enhanced across the Aus/NZ region over the last 24 
hours. Similar conditions are expected for the next 3 days.
