AUSTRALIAN REGION SUMMARY AND FORECAST

1. SUMMARY (17 JUNE)

MUFs:
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Depressions of 15-35% at Vanimo. Near predicted
      monthly values at Niue with depressions to 30% 01-05,
      15-17 and 22-23 UT. Night spread F observed at Niue.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressions of 15-30% 00-09 UT then near predicted
      monthly values. Night spread F observed at most
      stations.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values with enhancements to 45%
      08-20 UT observed at Canberra, Christchurch, Hobart and
      Sydney. Depressions to 30% observed at Norfolk Is.
      15-19 UT. Night spread F observed at Brisbane and
      Norfolk Is.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values. Depressions to 30% at
      Casey 06-10 UT.

PCA Event : No event.
