      Enhanced by 30% after local dawn.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
      Enhanced by 15% after local dawn.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      Proton event in progress, increased absorption observed.

COMMENT: IPS HF Communications Warning 18 was issued on 23 April 
and is current for interval 23-24 April. Due to the partial halo 
CME, observed on 21 April, the geomagnetic activity rose upto 
minor storm level on 23 April. The HF conditions are expected 
to remain normal in Australian region over the next 3 days as 
the geomagnetic activity is declinig.
